East Coast Tango Society is a membership organization for Argentine tango in Halifax and Nova Scotia. During the past year, ECTS was formed through the efforts of a large number of people in the tango community.

In mid-April 2008 we received official non-profit society status “to promote high quality Argentine tango through dance, music, social and cultural activities in Halifax and Nova Scotia”. We hope to continue to expose the greater community to the dance, music, and culture of Argentine tango, and share the passion for this amazing dance.
